Changing the Auto Iris Setting for Focal Adjustment
To adjust the focus of the P-Iris models, disable the Auto Iris function in advance and follow the instructions below to achieve optimal image quality.
Adjusting the focus while the P-Iris is on causes blurry camera images later when the illumination decreases, especially if the focal adjustment had not been done properly.

To adjust the focus of the P-Iris models, disable the Auto Iris function in advance and follow the instructions below to achieve optimal image quality.
Adjusting the focus while the P-Iris is on causes blurry camera images later when the illumination decreases, especially if the focal adjustment had not been done properly.
- Log onto the Web interface of the GV-IP Camera.
- In the left menu, select Streaming 1 under Video Settings and disable the Auto Iris function. Click Apply.
- Adjust the camera focus as needed while the P-Iris remains disabled.
- Enable the Auto Iris function again once you finish adjusting the camera.
- A dialogue box appears once you select Enable. Click OK.
