Issue:
Unable to play SNVR Series recordings when using GV-Remote applications such as SNVR Viewer/GV-ERM/GV-Remote Viewlog V2.
It shows an error message saying “Start playback failed, unable to connect”.
Solution:
Sometimes GV software can conflict with the computer’s protection systems when anti-virus software is installed/enabled.
You can try:
A. To verify your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the port (80) used by SNVR or set up a proper exception rule for it.
B. To change the default port (80) to a different port.
SNVR => Settings => Network => Web Server
