Distance between QSD5731-IR and GV-PA902BT & GV-PA903BT is 600 feet and 900 feet, is it possible to extend POE/Data to 600 and 900 feet long?
Answer:
The specification of GV-PA902BT & GV-PA903BT can only support up to 328ft.
QSD5731-IR requires High POE (POE++, 60W) and currently, GeoVision does not offer High POE products.
Therefore, it is not possible to extend POE to the suggested distance.
As for data connection, it is recommended to use GV-POEX0100 where 5 GV-POEX0100 can extend up to 1968ft (600 meters).
The other side would require a POE switch with POE (IEEE802.3af) or POE+ (IEEE 802.3at) compliant switches.
