GV FAE Knowledge

Issue:
The Edge Recording Manager v1.0 for Mac is unable to do the remote playback when connecting to VMS v15.11 or VMS v15.11.1

Root Cause:
It is caused by the the program change of VMS V15.11.0.0, which cause remote playback unable to access in ERM Mac.

Solution:
There are three solution in this case.
a. Upgrade ERM v1.02 for Mac. Please see the attachment. or
b. Advise clients to upgrade to VMS v15.11.2 or
c. Apply VMS v15.11.0.0.d below if clients don't want to upgrade to VMS v15.11.2 or higher. See the steps below.

Patch / Procedure ( V15.11.0.0.d ):
1. Close ERM and other GeoVision software completely.
2. Unzip the attachment.
3. Copy and paste the files below from VMS_V15.11.0.0.d folder to the respective folder of GV-Software (Ex. C:\GV-VMS)

- GVLVLServer.dll
- VersionInfo_GV-VMSV1511_161011.txt

4 Restart GV-VMS v15.11 to see how everything goes.

Note that this patch is based on VMS v15.11.
