1. PC Spec
Run an AP called CPU-Z for PC Spec Check.
Please sent the PC Spec Report in either HTML or TXT to me
http://ftp.geovision.tw/FTP/Derek/CPU-Z.zip

2. GeoHealth Log
Go to Start >> Search.
Seach C:\ to see if you can find any files called " GeoHealth ".
The keyword for you to search is " GeoHealth*.* "; then you may find GeoHealth05.ini...etc.
Copy them all and sent it to me.

3. Error Log
Go to C:\ GV-Folder \ check to see if you can find an folder called Errorlog.
If yes, please email to me

4. Multicam Surveillance System.ini file
Go to C:\ Windows \ find a file called Multicam Surveillance System.ini
Sent it to me, please.

5. FBR
First of all, you need to install FBR application on your DVR from a GeoVision Installation CD.
After installation, you go to Start >> Program >> FBR >> Fast Backup and Restore Main System.
Click " Backup System settings ".

Choose the setting you would like to do the backup. Save the file as EXE. Winzip it and sent it to me.

6. Windows Event Log >> System log Section
In Windows, right click My Computer icon >> Manage >> System Tools >> System log.
Check to see if any error messate in this case. If yes, please snapshot the error message.
If the error message has an button for you to click " see more detail ", by all mean, click that button and also snapshot it for me.

7. Windows Mini-Dump Files
C:\Windows\Minidump folder. If you can find it, please sent it to me.

Note that Mini-dump file need to be enable first. Here are the steps on how to enable the Mini-dump file in various Windows.

For Windows XP:
a) Right-click on the 'My Computer' icon and choose 'Properties'. Alternatively, you can also go to Control Panel and open the 'System' applet.
b) In the opened window, click the 'Advanced' tab and then inside the 'Startup And Recovery' frame, click the 'Settings' button.

c) In the opened 'Startup And Recovery' window, there is 'Write Debugging Information' section. You should set the combo-box in this section to 'Small memory dump', and then click 'ok' to confirm the change.

For Windows 7:

a) Go to the Control Panel, choose 'System And Security', and then click 'System', and then click the 'Advanced System Settings' link.
b) In the opened window, click the 'Advanced' tab and then inside the 'Startup And Recovery' frame, click the 'Settings' button.
c) In the opened 'Startup And Recovery' window, there is 'Write Debugging Information' section. You should set the combo-box in this section to 'Small memory dump', and then click 'ok' to confirm the change.

8. Windows O/S, SP, 32 bit / 64 bit ?
