[ Storage System ] LUN and Target - 20160912

Question:
1 Target with different multiple LUNs/VDs vsers Multiple Targets with different multiple LUNs/VDs, what's the difference?
Answer:
For 1 Target with different multiple LUNs/VDs setup, once iSCSI initiator is connected to the target, you will see all the VDs.
For Multiple Targets with different multiple LUNs/VDs setup, once iSCSI initiator is connected to multiple target, you can only see that particular VD which is assigned to the particular targets. It would be better that we suggest clients to setup in this way. It's more simple and straight-forward. 避免用戶誤用其它的VD而導致同時寫入, 造成資料混亂.(recycle亂砍檔案)
