Issue:
1. With Axis M7016, all 4 channels live views squeezed into 1 channel in VMS v14.1
2. With Axis 241Q integration to VMS v14.1, Axis 241Q will have disconnection within a couple of seconds once hookup with VMS.
Root Cause:
1. Axis M7016 is on our intranet, opening 3016 port to 80 port of M7016 by port-forwarding. We don’t allow to push any devices exposed to internet. Because of that, VMS are only allowed to use RTSP over Http to connect the device. It needs to setup the VLC to use RTSP over HTTP.
2. Not an issue, RD cannot reproduce the same problem, everything is running smoothly with the same setting.
Solution:
1. Regarding to Axis M7016, please advise client to use RTSP over HTTP when integrating to VMS. The command is indicated as below.
“RTSP URL: rtsp://<servername>/axis-media/media.amp?camera=1”
Please change Channel 2 to camera=2, and so forth.
