Applied to:
GV-VMS

Issue:
Problems on VMS Software and 4 x 4K Monitors and 1 Full HD Monitor attached.
1. If the customers activate the layouts for the 4K Monitors, some cameras get a delay of 10-15 seconds. If they deactivate the layouts everything is fine, and the delay only affects the GV VideoStreams. If they open an internet explorer window, it is synchronize to the mouse movement.
2. The display of the fisheye cameras gets white (the dewarped display such as 4 channel, top left) You can see it in the 16 channel view as channel 14-16.

Root Cause:
1. This is most likely caused by overloading of GPU and it should be fixable by adjusting the On Demand Display resolution in VMS. By default our VMS's On Demand Display is set to 640 x 360, which means that in VMS display if the monitor's resolution within that channel is more than 640 x 360, then Stream 1 will be displayed instead of Stream 2. Customer is currently using 4 x 4 layouts on 4K monitors so this means that TV's resolution is 3840 x 2160 and each channel's resolution will be 3840/4 x 2160/4 which = 960 x 540 which is already above the default On Demand resolution. This means that he has 5 monitors each displaying more than 10 channels of Stream 1 and it is overloading the GPU.

2. The issue is GPU and desktop resolution related which causes VMS to have trouble rendering the dewarping.

Solution:
1. Solution for this would be to go to VMS Toolbar > Configure > Configure > Camera Install and click on each camera's Settings button. This will bring them to the camera setting page, as below. Go to General Settings > On Demand Display and increase the resolution from 640 x 360 into 1024 x 768 or higher and all the current live view streams will now become Stream 2 instead of Stream 1. This should decrease the GPU's loading by a lot.

2. It is working now after RD fixed some codes by remote control, the latest VMS Version on our official website will be included this modified patch as well.

Patch/Procedure:
1. Exit VMS v15.10
2. Unzip 20151217-Dewarp Black screen.zip
3. Copy the GeoFisheye.dll file into C:\VMS and overwrite the existing file
