Question:
With CPU or GPU decording, will the higher resolution and more channel division playback in VMS cause CPU increase

Answer:
Yes, it will with CPU decoing but not with GPU decoding.

In Viewlog, with CPU decoding the higher resolution and more channel division playback in VMS cause CPU increase.

With Frame by Frame mode, the playback will be slow down when the playback speed reaches to 16x and 32x with multiple channel division. It is due to insufficient hardware spec.
With Real Time mode, the video clip will start to drop frames when the playback speed reaches to 16x and 32x with multiple channel division. It is also due to insufficient hardware spec.
With Just Key Frame mode, the playback will be slow down when the playback speed reaches to 16x and 32x with multiple channel division. It is due to insufficient hardware spec.
With Smooth Playback mode, the video clip will start to drop frames when the playback speed is 1x with multiple channel division. It is also due to insufficient hardware spec. * Smooth playback doesn't support fast-forward.

On the other hand, in Viewlog, with GPU decoding the higher resolution and more channel division playback in VMS will not cause CPU increase with above 4 playback modes.
