Question:

How to connect RS232 GPS module to Compact V3's PS/2 port?

Answer:

RS232 GPS comes with wires. Without using any PS/2 adapter, user can connect RS232 wires directly into PS/2 pin holes on Compact DVR V3.

By matching the pin hole locations shown in the pictures below.

If Compact DVR V3 is not able to detect the GPS modules,check the wiring again and try switching between the GPS TX and GPS RX wires
