[ Mobile ] Failed to playback the video file via GV-Eye v2.1 under Androd platform - 20150904
Posted: September 4th, 2015, 4:30 pm
Applied to
GV Eye v2.1 for Android only
Symptom
I can connect to the site for live view with my phone. When I go to playback it shows the list of recordings. When I click any recording it goes to the next page and says “Please wait while connecting to the server…” It continues to do this and never stops. The only way to go back to the previous page is force close the app and start again.
Root of cause
When GV-Eye v2.1 for Android under DST, RPB function can't load event successfully, since Android will check time for each frame, but there is one hour difference under DST, it always drop the wrong time frame as a loop, so you can't get video image.
Solution
You can apply following patch or upgrade GV-Ee 2.11 for Android OS
The procedures to apply patch
http://pd.geovision.tw/jameshsiao/Patch ... v2.1.1.zip
1. Unzip the file, save "GV-Eye_v2_1_1_20150515_2.apk" to your Android mobile/pad
2. Close and exit GV-Eye v2.1
3. Remove GV-Eye v2.1
4. Click "GV-Eye_v2_1_1_20150515_2.apk" from your mobile/pad, it'll setup new GV Eye for you
Note: This is beta version, you can't order Fisheye dewarp feature in this beta version, but if you did paid dewarp feature in GV Eye2.1 before, you can still have this feature.
