[VMS] The GVLicensetool.exe file will be detected as a virus by antivirus software Kaspersky.

Symptom:
The GVLicensetool.exe file will be detected as a virus by antivirus software Kaspersky.
Resolution:
GVLicensetool.exe is a safe file. GeoVision has conducted a test on 7 antivirus software AVG, AVvast, Norton, PC-cilin, ESET NOD32, Avira and Kaspersky. Only Kaspersky will recognize the file as Trojan. However, to avoid the wrong detection, we have removed the file from the following software and version:
- GV-VMS V14.10.10
- GV-Edge Recording Manager V1.1
- GV-Control Center V3.3
If such wrong detection prevails, you may also exclude the file or GV-Software folder from your antivirus scans.
