[VMS] Video lost few seconds after startup for third party IP Cameras using ONVIF - 20150522
Posted: May 22nd, 2015, 3:35 pm
Issue:
Video only shows for a few seconds then disconnects when third party IP cameras connect to VMS using ONVIF.
IP camera will not respond to VMS command and user is not able to un-tick the camera in camera install window.
Cause:
background rtsp parse problem.
Fix:
1. Close VMS software and its services.
2. Replace LiveMediaDll_MD.dll and RtspClientDll.dll with files inside the attachement.
RtspClientDll.dll can be located under "C:\Windows\IPCAMX\GeoCodecLib\".
LiveMediaDll_MD.dll can be located under "C:\Windows\IPCAMX\GeoCodecLib\" and "~\GV-VMS\".
