This document explains how to regularly back up and restore GV-Control Center server configuration files to support disaster recovery and system migration. To safeguard your surveillance environment, it is strongly recommended to back up your configuration on a routine schedule.
GV Control Center relies on Microsoft SQL Server to store log data. After restoring your configuration files, you must reconnect the GV-Control Center to the SQL Server to resume full data logging operations.
