[Technical Notice] Green Screen and GPU Decoding Issue

Symptom
A green screen issue may appear during live view or playback in GV-Edge Recording Manager or GV-Control Center, as illustrated below.

Solutions
Perform the following steps in sequence. If a step resolves the green screen issue, you do not need to continue to the next one.

1. Update Graphics Driver: Upgrade your graphics card driver to the latest version.

2. Update Software: Ensure you are running the latest version of the software. To download the newest update, visit our official website.

3. Disable GPU Decoding: If the steps above do not resolve the issue, disable GPU decoding by following these steps:
  • A. On the main screen, click the Configure button in the upper-right corner > System Configure.

    B. In the System Configure dialog box, click the Live View tab and uncheck Enable GPU.

    C. Click OK. The system will restart to apply the changes.
