[Technical Notice] Aspect Ratio Correction for Exported Videos

Symptom
The exported video from cameras set to 4 MP / 5 MP / 8 MP Lite resolution is displayed vertically instead of horizontally. For example:
• 4 MP Lite: shows 1280 × 1440 instead of 1440 × 1280
• 5 MP Lite: shows 1440 × 1620 instead of 1620 × 1440
• 8 MP Lite: shows 1920 × 2160 instead of 2160 × 1920
Solution
To resolve the above symptom when playing back exported videos, use the Aspect Ratio setting in a media player (such as VLC, KMPlayer, or PortPlayer) and switch to the desired ratio of 16:9 or 4:3.
