[Technical Notice] GV-IP Speaker Firmware Upgrade Causing Parameters to Revert to Default

After upgrading the GV-IP Speaker firmware, all parameters under the SipParam, OnvifParam, and Setting tabs in Setting will revert to factory defaults. Notably, the Username and Password on the OnvifParam page will be reset to their defaults admin / admin123, which may interrupt connections with GV-VMS, GV-Control Center, and GV-Cloud Bridge Pro.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.

Solution
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
- Before updating the firmware, note down or take screenshots of all parameters under the SipParam, OnvifParam, and Setting tabs in Setting, especially the Username and Password on the OnvifParam page.
- After updating the firmware, restore the settings by re-typing the values from your notes or screenshots.
