[Technical Notice] People Count Reset Caused by GV-VMS Recording Stop with GV-3D People Counter

Symptoms
Stopping recording in GV-VMS when used with GV-3D People Counter may reset the people count in GV-3D People Counter to zero.

Solution
While the people count is reset to zero, users are still able to access the data up to the point when recording stops.
To view the people count data in GV-VMS, follow the steps below:
1. Click ViewLog > Toolbar > Tools > Advanced System Log.
2. Select System from the Log Type dropdown list. Note down the “Monitor Stopped” time, which indicates when recording stopped.

3. Select AI Counter from the Log Type dropdown list. Note down the “End Time” for the selected people count log.

4. If the “End Time” of the selected people count log matches the “Monitor Stopped” time, you can confirm that the people count at that time is the count up to the point when recording stopped.
