[Technical Notice] Dual Image Fusion Display Issue After GV-TMEB5800 Firmware Upgrade to V1.02 or later

Introduction
After upgrading the GV-TMEB5800 firmware to V1.02 or later, users may encounter a display issue related to the Dual Image Fusion feature. The following sections describe the symptom and its solution.

Symptom
When Dual Image Fusion is enabled (in Image > Display Settings > Image Configuration in the Web interface), it may cause the thermal image to display artifacts or turn completely black.

Solution
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
  1. In the bottom left of the live view interface, right-click and hold the Thermal Image Display icon for about 10 seconds. Release the button when the arrow buttons appear.

  2. Reboot the camera using either of the following methods:
    1. In the Web Interface, go to Config > Maintenance > Reboot, click Reboot, and type the Password of the device.

    2. In GV-IP Device Utility, double-click the GV-TMEB5800 camera in the device list to open the settings dialog box. Type the Username and Password of the device, then go to the Other Settings tab and click Reboot.

  3. After successfully rebooting, the system will automatically refresh the Dual Image Fusion data, restoring the thermal image to normal.
