The GV-FER5702 is installed indoors with the Day/Night function set to auto.
Switching from Day mode to Night mode: Works fine
Switching from Night mode to Day mode: Doesn’t work
When transitioning from dark to light conditions, the camera fails to switch back to Day mode on multiple units.
However, powering the affected camera off and on restores it to Day mode.
The issue reoccurs when transitioning from dark to light again.
Other cameras, such as the GV-TBL4810, installed in the same lighting environment, switch from Night mode to Day mode without any issues.
Suggestion:
The issue may be related to the "Metering Control" setting.
Center-Weighted Average Metering:
The Day/Night switching is based on the brightness of the center of the image.
If the brightness in the center does not reach the threshold, the camera may not switch to Day mode.
Spot Monitoring:
This setting allows you to specify a light spot area according to the indoor lighting conditions, providing more flexible adjustment of the Day/Night switching.

Depending on the indoor lighting, it’s recommended to change the "Metering Control" setting to "Spot Monitoring".
This allows you to focus on a specific area in the frame for Day/Night switching, providing more precise and flexible adjustments based on your lighting conditions.
