[Technical Notice] How to Apply GV-Control Center V3 Settings to V4

When upgrading GV-Control Center V3.8.0 to GV-Control Center V4.2.0 ~ V4.2.1, different measures are required to apply older version settings to the new version. Follow the instructions below.
Note: For GV-Control Center V3.7.0 or earlier, it is required to upgrade to GV-Control Center V3.8.0 before starting the following configurations.
System settings and Matrix View settings
E-MAp Editor settings
Application Position settings
Currently, the Application Position settings cannot be directly exported / imported, so a manual setup on GV-Control Center V4 is required. See Chapter 8 Multi Monitors Applications in GV-Control Center User’s Manual V4 for details.
Note: All settings will be imported when upgrading from GV-Control Center V3 to the upcoming GV-Control Center V4 version (after V4.2.1).

System settings and Matrix View settings
- On the live view window of GV-Control Center V3, click the Configure button, and select Export Data to export the system setting file (.ccb).
- Optionally set a password for importing the file later.
- On the live view window of GV-Control Center V4, click the Configure button, and select Import Data.
- On the popup dialog box, type the password (if configured at Step 2).
- After the data import is completed, GV-Control Center V4 will restart, and the login dialog box will appear.
- Click Cancel on the dialog box to close GV-Control Center V4.
- Install the Matrix Inverter tool here and save it at the same path of GV-Control Center V4.
- Right-click on the Matrix Inverter tool and select Run as administrator.
- On the popup window, click the … button to locate the GV-Control Center V3 system setting file (.ccb) and click Start.
- On the popup dialog box, type the password (if configured at Step 2), and select OK.
E-MAp Editor settings
- On GV-Control Center V3 E-Map Editor window, select File > Save to file….
- On GV-Control Center V4 E-Map Editor window, select File > Load from file… to import the exported file.
Application Position settings
