[Technical Notice] How to connect the SC1 IP Camera to GV-ASManager via GV-FWC

Instructions
1. Connect the SC1 to the same LAN as GV-FWC, GV-ASController, and GV-ASManager. And make sure GV-ASController and GV-ASManager has been connected.

Connecting the SC1 to GV-ASManager
2. On the Controller Setup dialog box, select GV-VD8700/GV-FD8700-FR under Extended Reader. Type the IP address, MAC, login Account and Password of the SC1. Note that you cannot use the search function on the dialog box to locate the SC1.

Connecting the SC1 to GV-FWC
3. On the Web interface of the SC1, select Event and Alerts > Event Manager > Settings.
  • A) Enable Face event logging.
    B) Under Send Face Event to, enable Http Event (1). Disable Http Event (2) and Email.
    C) Under Send Event when Face in Group, select VIP, Normal, and unwelcomed.
    D) Under Send Event when Face is Unknown, select Yes.
    E) Click Apply.

4. Select Event and Alerts > Event Manager > Http Event.
  • A) Under Http Method, select POST.
    B) Under Post Content Type, select JSON (application/json).
    C) Under URL, type the IP address and port of GV-FWC. The port is 8080 by default, and if changed, it must match the VD8700/FD8700-FR HTTP Event Port in Step 5 below.
    D) Under Face Recognition Data, set up 6 Parameter Names and Face Data following the UI examples below.

Connecting GV-FWC to GV-AS Controller
5. On the Web interface of GV-FWC, type the MAC address of the SC1, and the IP address of the GV-AS Controller.

On GV-AS Controller
6. On the Web interface of GV-AS Controller, verify that the SC1 and GV-FWC are connected, with a green tick under Connection Status.

After completing the above connection settings and verification, the SC1 can now send face data to GV-ASManager.

You can also upload more face data (User, Card, and Photo) to the SCi using the Feature Access on GV-ASManager.

Tips: To create face data on GV-ASManager and upload the data to the SC1:
1. To create face data, click Personnel on the menu bar > Users > the New button on the toolbar > the Feature tab. Enroll facial features under the GV-VD8700 / GV-FD8700-FR / GV-AI FR / GV-FR Panel section.

2. To upload the data, click Setup on the menu bar > Feature Access, and select the controller's door and assign users from the right to left
