Questioin:
How to set up Gmail SMTP in GeoVision software?
Answer:
Please refer to the steps below.
1. Logon to Gmail account >> Security >> Enable 2-Step Verification
2. To enable 2-Step Verification, you need to enter a mobile phone number on the webpage first. Then you will receive a verification code in your phone. Lastly, enter the code for activation.
3. Then go to Security >> APP passwords >> Mail >> Click Generate button.
4. Gmail will generate a 16-digit passwords. Enter this password to the Email verification password field in your software. After all, your email notification should be working properly.
NOTE: THIS SOLUTION APPLIES TO ALL GEOVISION SOFTWARES.
