Introduction
This document illustrates detailed instructions for connecting to UA-HD DVR or UA-SNVR on GV-IP Decoder Box Ultra through RTSP to provide users with the optimal video surveillance solution.

Instruction
To connect to UA-HD DVR or UA-SNVR on GV-IP Decoder Box Ultra through RTSP, follow the steps below:

On UA-HD DVR or UA-SNVR

1. To enable RTSP connection on UA-HD DVR or UA-SNVR, select Network > Platform Access > Enableon the Web interface.

2. Create the authorized username and password for RTSP connection and click Save.
   
   

On GV-IP Decoder Box Ultra

1. Select Camera Search > Add Camera. This dialogue box appears.

2. Name the device in the field of Camera Name.
3. Under Login Information, type the authorized username and password created on UA-HD DVR or UA-SNVR at Step 2.
4. Select the desired stream mode on the drop-down list of Stream Mode. It is suggested to select Dual Stream in case of multiple division display on GV-IP Decoder Box Ultra.
5. On the drop-down list of Protocol, select RTSP over TCP.
6. In case of single stream, type one of the following commands in the field of RTSP Command:
   • For main stream display: rtsp://IP address:port/rtsp/streaming?channel=xx&subtype=0
   • For sub stream display: rtsp://IP address:port/rtsp/streaming?channel=xx&subtype=1
7. In case of dual stream, type the following commands:
   • In the field of RTSP Command: rtsp://IP address:port/rtsp/streaming?channel=xx&subtype=0
   • In the field of RTSP Command2: rtsp://IP address:port/rtsp/streaming?channel=xx&subtype=1
