Introduction
This document provides a list of the gang box sizes and compatibilities to help users better understand the required accessories for installing access control products onto US / EU gang boxes.
Gang Box Sizes and Compatibilities with GV Access Control Products
As gang box sizes and compatibilities vary, GeoVision access control products can be installed onto them directly or with different accessories. The following shows US / EU gang box sizes and compatibilities with GV access control products.
US Standard Gang Boxes

As the gang box sizes vary, their compatibilities with GV access control products differ accordingly. Refer to the table below for more details on the compatibilities:

In the table we can see the US / EU gang box compatibilities with GV access control products vary, which can be divided into five major types:
- Models that can be installed onto US gang boxes only (without any accessories): CS1320 / CR1320, DFK1355, FR2020, GF1921 / 1922, and SR1251 / Reader1251.
- Models that can be installed onto US / EU gang boxes with GV-Mount accessories: FR Panel, RK1352, and R1352.
- Models that can be installed onto US gang boxes with specific accessories (the heightening mount bracket) and onto EU gang boxes without the accessory: QR1352 / DES1352.
- The model that can be installed onto all of US / EU gang boxes without any accessories: RK1352, R1352, RKD1352, R1355, RKR1355, and RKV1355.
- Models that are compatible with neither US nor EU gang boxes: RU9003, AS1520, AS21x / 41x / 81x Series, AS1620, AS1010, DFR1352, and R1354.
