Introduction
This document illustrates detailed instructions for connecting UA-HD DVR / SNVR on GV-VMS / Edge Recording Manager (Windows Version) and lists required licenses / software versions for the connection.

Instruction
Connecting UA-HD DVR on GV-VMS

Before connecting UA-HD DVR on GV-VMS, make sure the corresponding licenses are purchased:

• HD DVR license for GV-VMS V17.4.5 or later (only analog channels supported)

• HD DVR license for GV-VMS V18.3.1 or later (only analog channels supported)

1. Click Home > Toolbar > Configure > Camera Install. The license availability will be displayed at the bottom, including the license type and applicable channel connection number.

2. To manually connect UA-HD DVR, click Add Camera.
3. Alternatively, click Scan Camera to automatically detect and connect UA-HD DVR on the same LAN.
4. Fill in the required information on the corresponding pop-up windows to establish the connection.

Note: Only single stream (mainstream) is supported for the connected UA-HD DVR on GV-VMS.

Connecting UA-HD DVR / SNVR on GV-Edge Recording Manager (Windows Version)

Before connecting UA-HD DVR / SNVR on GV-Edge Recording Manager (Windows Version), make sure your GV-Edge Recording Manager is updated to V2.2.0 or later. No additional license is required.

1. On GV-Edge Recording Manager (Windows Version), manually connect UA-HD DVR / SNVR by clicking Add > Add Host > Add USAVision HD DVR/NVR on the Host List. The dialog box appears.

2. Fill in the ID, Password, and HTTP Port.
3. Alternatively, click Add > Add Host > Search Host on the Host List of GV-Edge Recording Manager (Windows Version) to automatically connect UA-HD DVR / SNVR on the same LAN.

4. Fill in the required information on the corresponding pop-up windows to establish the connection.
