How to extend the distance between a camera using POE++ and the network switch.
Answer:
We currently do not offer POE Extenders that support POE++.
It is suggested to serially connect POEX0100 from the network switch to the POE++ injector then connect the POE++ injector to the camera to increase the overall connection distance.
Note: This method will only extend the maximum distance for the data.
Please refer to the diagram below using the QSD5731-IR and GV-PA902BT or GV-PA903BT (POE++) as an example.
