[ LPR ] LPR camera keeps running recognition even when no vehicle? - 20211222

Symptom:
LPR camera has I/O connected for input trigger plate recognition, but the camera keeps running recognition and output data even when there is no vehicle on the I/O pressure loop?

Solution:
Please firstly check camera I/O status using the camera's web interface as shown in the screenshot below.
Red square with a tiny yellow man icon suggests the input is being triggered.
LPR Camera Web -> Live view -> I/O Control -> IO DEVICE.

If the status is already showing triggered while there is nothing triggering the input, it is likely the incorrect I/O the device type was configured.
For example, a Normally Closed Circuit device was configured but a Normally Open Circuit device was connected.
To verify this:
Connect to LPR Camera web -> Event and Alerts -> Check and make sure Normal State is set to either Open or Close Circuit (N/O or N/C)
