[Technical Notice] Inability to Upgrade GV-IP Cameras to Firmware V1.25 or later

Firmware V1.09~1.14 of the following GV-IP Camera models:

Symptom
A firmware upgrade failure occurs when attempting to upgrade GV-IP Cameras of V1.09~1.14 to firmware V1.25 or later.
Solution
To upgrade the above models from V1.09~1.14 to V1.25 or later, the firmware is required to upgrade to V1.17 first.
1. Obtain firmware V1.17 from our support team (support@geovision.com.tw).
2. Unzip and install firmware V1.17 into the camera using the Web interface or IP Device Utility.
3. Upgrade the camera again with the latest firmware from our website.

Symptom
A firmware upgrade failure occurs when attempting to upgrade GV-IP Cameras of V1.09~1.14 to firmware V1.25 or later.
Solution
To upgrade the above models from V1.09~1.14 to V1.25 or later, the firmware is required to upgrade to V1.17 first.
1. Obtain firmware V1.17 from our support team (support@geovision.com.tw).
2. Unzip and install firmware V1.17 into the camera using the Web interface or IP Device Utility.
3. Upgrade the camera again with the latest firmware from our website.
