To comply with California Password Law starting from Jan. 1, 2020, GeoVision has updated the firmware of GV-IP devices to resolve default credential vulnerabilities. After upgrading your network device, you will be asked to create a username and password and meet the password strength requirement when accessing the device for the first time.
