[Technical Notice] Unable to Log in Using GV-SNVR Guest Accounts on Internet Explorer and GV-SNVR Viewer

Symptom
Users are unable to log into GV-SNVR using guest accounts on Internet Explorer and/or GV-SNVR Viewer, and a message of “No privilege” appears.

Solution
To resolve the above-mentioned symptom, follow the steps below to perform a one-time installation of Geovision ActiveX component on your computer.
  1. Open the login page of your GV-SNVR on the Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Click here to download the plugin file.

  3. Once the plugin is installed successfully, refresh your Internet Explorer and allow the prompt for ActiveX control.
  4. Log in to your guest account again on either the Internet Explorer or GV-SNVR Viewer.
