[Technical Notice] GV-Software License Registered on Windows 10 V1507 Becomes Invalid after Windows Update

GV-VMS Software License Registered on Windows 10 V1507 (Build 10240)

Summary
Due to the rearrangement of OS info after Windows 10 V1507, GV-VMS Software License is unable to retrieve certain key information from Windows 10 V1507 that are otherwise retrievable from other versions during registration.
As a result, GV-VMS Software License(s) that are registered on Windows 10 V1507 will become invalid after any Windows update.

Important Notice
To avoid GV-VMS Software License from becoming invalid, contact our support team (support@geovision.com.tw) for assistance before performing any Windows update(s) if your software license has been registered on Windows 10 V1507.

Checking Windows 10 Version
To check the version of Windows 10 of your PC, follow the steps below.
  1. On the PC’s Start menu, type winver and click the corresponding command to run.
