For VMS or NVR/DVR, the following is a list of a camera with multiple lenses that would only need to purchase one port of a 3rd-party dongle. If your third party cameras are NOT on the list below and your camera has contained multiple lenses, then you will need to purchase a number of port license according to your multiple lense camera.
For instance, you are using ARECONT_AV_8360 with 4 lenses, only 1 port of a 3rd party dongle is required. One the other hand, if you are using ARECONT Omni series with 4 lenses ( This model isn't on the following list ), 4 ports of a 3rd party dongle is needed.
