Will SNVR0812 ever support SV4800 or not?
Answer:
No, it won't.
But only SNVR1611 does in the entire SNVR series.
Because the max. Res supported by SV4800 is 12MP, so is the max. Res supported by SNVR1611.
However, the max. Res supported of SNVR0812, SNVR0411 and SNVR0811 is 8MP, so they don't support SV4800.
SV4800 consists of 4 units of 12MP cameras and this is how the part of its model name came.
SV represents surrounded view achieved by the 4 units of 12MP cameras integrated.
However, as it's added to SNVR1611, it would only become 4 independent 12MP cameras rather than perform the surrounded view.
Although the 4 independent live views can be displayed in SNVR1611, its long-term stability is not guaranteed.
We will have to check it further.
