Summary
GV-Backup Center is a backup program, typically installed at an offsite location, used to remotely back up all recordings from the connected GV-DVR/NVR/VMS.
Oftentimes, users may want to only back up the recordings of the GV-DVR/NVR/VMS starting from a specified date, and ignore the ample amount of prior recordings. To do this, follow the procedures below.

Note: All procedures must be done locally at the GV-DVR/NVR/VMS you want to back up.

Procedures
The following procedures are exemplified using GV-VMS.
  1. Click Home > Toolbar > Network to make sure the Backup Center Service is disabled. If not, disable it by deselecting Backup Center.

  3. 3. Double-click GeoBkSvrInfo.ini and edit the info under [Video_Event].
    • Change the date and time command after Cam= as explained below:
    Channel 1: Cam1=<YYYY><MM><DD><HH><MM><SS>001
    Channel 64: Cam64=<YYYY><MM><DD><HH><MM><SS>064

For example, Cam1=20190307114722001; for channel 1, only the recordings recorded after March 7th, 2019, 11:47:22 will be backed up.
