Due to the update of the NAND flash memory in GV-IP Camera of V1.09 and later, there is a slight chance that after reboot, your GeoVision IP camera with the new NAND flash becomes inaccessible through the Web interface or GV-DVR / NVR.
Solution
If you could not access your GV-IP Camera, follow the steps below to upgrade your camera firmware.
- Download the latest firmware according to the camera model from our website.
- Download and install GV-IP Device Utility program in the same LAN with your camera.
- Double-click the IP Device Utility icon created on your desktop. The program automatically searches for the GeoVision IP devices on the same LAN. This dialog box appears.
- Click the Name, MAC Address or IP Address to sort.
- On the GV-IP Device Utility window, click your camera and select Configure. This window appears.
- Select the Firmware Upgrade tab and click the Browse button to locate the downloaded firmware file.
- Type the password of your camera and click OK to start upgrading.
