5 MP GeoVision Fisheye IP Camera
Question
Why is part of the 5 MP fisheye camera view missing?
Answer
This is a hardware specification of the 5 MP fisheye cameras. The circular lens of the fisheye
camera is slightly larger than the size of the camera sensor. The missing areas of the fisheye
view are where the lens size exceeds the sensor size.
You can eliminate the dark areas of the camera view by reducing the size of the Image
Alignment circle, but field of view will also be reduced. To adjust the image alignment, follow
the steps below:
1. Login to the Web interface of the fisheye camera, right-click the live view and select Geo
Fisheye.
2. Right-click the live view again, select Fisheye Option and select Image Alignment.
3. Drag the red circle to adjust the image alignment.
