[Technical Notice] How to Acquire and Edit Data from Driver’s Licenses & Business Cards with GV-ASManager

You can acquire and edit the data from driver’s licenses and business cards with GV-ASManager. Follow the steps below:
- On the desktop, click Start, point to Programs, click AS200 and select ASManager.

- On the menu bar of the ASManager window, click Personnel, and then select Cardholders.

- In the Cardholder List dialog box, click the New button.

- In the Cardholder Setup dialog box, click the Scan tab.

- Place a driver’s license or a business card onto the scan table of the SnapShell camera ID scanner.

- On the Scan tab, select Driver License or Business Card in the File Type field.

- Here we use the Driver License as the example to demonstrate the following steps. Select Driver License in the File Type field and click Scan. When the scan is complete, the license image is displayed.

- Click Extract to read the license data.
After the extraction is complete, the data is displayed.

- To modify the data, click the desired field and type the new texts. Click anywhere in the dialog box when you finish the modification.

- After the data modification is complete, click Update.

- The data of this driver’s license is now updated in the database.

- Click the Home tab to view the data of the driver’s license. If you want to view the data of a business card, click the Business tab.
