Instructions
Using ONVIF or PSIA protocol, GV-IP Camera can be added to Axxon’s surveillance software, Axxon Next. To add GV-IP Camera to Axxon Next, follow the steps below:
- Run the Axxon Next program and type the Username and Password to log in.
- After logging into the Web interface, click the Settings button at the upper-right corner.
- Under the list of devices, right-click the host computer and select Add IP-device.
- Under New camera, type the IP Address of the GV-IP Camera. Tip: If you want the device name to be displayed under the list of devices, type the device name of the GV-IP Camera as well.
- Under Device type, select ONVIF or PSIA in the Manufacturer drop-down list and click the Apply button to save the setting.
- Under Authentication, type the Login name and Password of the GV-IP Camera.
- Click Apply. The live view is displayed.
Enabling Audio Function
The audio function is disabled by default on GV-IP Camera V2.06 or later. To allow Axxon Next to access the GV-IP Camera with audio function, you need to manually enable the audio function on the Web interface of the GV-IP Camera.
- Start the Internet Explorer browser, and type the IP address of the GV-IP Camera.
- Type the login name and password, and click Apply to log in.
- In the left menu, select RTSP under Events and Alerts and select Enable Audio. Click Apply to activate the setting.
