[Technical Notice] Accessing GV-IP Cameras from exacqVision Surveillance Software

Summary
This document covers the basic instruction on adding GV-IP Cameras to exacqVision surveillance software using ONVIF protocols.

Instruction
  1. Double-click the exacqVision Client icon on your desktop to start running the software.
  2. Click the Config button in the top-left corner and select Add IP Cameras in the left menu.

  3. To manually add a GV-IP Camera,
    1. Click the New button.

    2. Select ONVIF for Device Type and type the IP Address, Username and Password of the GV-IP Camera.

    3. Click the Apply button.
  4. To add a GV-IP Camera using the auto scan function,
    1. Click the Rescan Network button.

    2. After the list of detected devices appears, select the GV-IP Camera you want to add and type its Username and Password.

    3. Click the Apply button.
  5. After the camera is added and connected, select the camera in the left menu to access the live view.

    Note: exacqVision does not support audio function.
