Summary
This document describes the procedure of adding GV-IP Cameras to HikVision surveillance software through ONVIF.
Instruction
- On the GV-IP Camera’s Web interface, select Events and Alerts, select RTSP, and change the RTSP / TCP Port to 554.
- Type the User Name and Password to log in the Web interface.
- To manually add a GV-IP Camera:
- From the Web interface, select Configure, Remote Configuration, Camera Management and IP Camera. This page appears.
- Click Add. This page appears.
- Select IP for Registration Mode, type the GV-IP Camera’s IP address, User Name and Password, change the Management Port to 80 and select ONVIF for Protocol and change.
- Click OK. The camera is added.
- To watch the live view of the connected camera, select Live View and then select the camera from the left menu. The live view appears.
Note:
- The Quick Add button (step 2d) is not functional for adding GV-IP Cameras.
- HikVision does not support audio function.
