[Technical Notice] Problems with GV-AS / EV Controllers After Upgrading Firmware

Symptom
The GV-AS / EV Controllers listed above may not run properly after upgrading to newer firmware. If you are unable to detect the controller in GV-IP Device Utility or GV-Net Module Utility, try restoring the GV-AS / EV Controllers to default settings first. If the problem persists, follow the instructions below to resolve the issue.

Instructions
  1. Remove the seal on the SD card of the GV-AS / EV Controller, and remove the SD card.
  2. Press the Reset button on the GV-AS / EV Controller for 3 seconds. The location of the Reset button varies among different controller models.

  3. After the rebooting, log in the Web interface of the GV-AS / EV Controller.
  4. Insert the SD card again.
  5. In the left menu of the Web interface, click Other Configuration and click the Format button under SD Card.
