[Technical Notice] Updating GeoVision IP Camera OCX

Symptom
The Web interface for GV-BL1210 / 2410 / 3410 / 5310 (firmware V2.04) may be disrupted if the same computer has been used to access GV IP Camera Web interface of firmware V2.01 or V2.03. The user will find that there is an extra button for the Focus change function and that the Focus Mode and Day Night Focus functions disappear from the camera adjustment settings page (see the figure below). This occurs because the OCX has not been updated properly when logging in a GV IP Camera of firmware V2.04.
Solution
Follow the steps below to update the OCX for firmware V2.04.

Solution
Follow the steps below to update the OCX for firmware V2.04.
- Mare sure all IE browsers are closed.
- Locate and delete the GeoOCX folder under C://WINDOWS.

- Log in the camera Web interface. The functions shall be restored immediately.
