Cause
This problem can occur if you search a big amount of data and there is no enough free space on drive C:\.

Solution
To resolve the problem, free up enough hard disk space on drive C, or change the default storage location of data.

1. Free space on drive C
Ensure that drive C has enough free space. To illustrate how much free space on drive C is required for data search to run, here we use POS data as an example:
  • If POS data is collected 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, the minimum amount of free space must be 6 GB.
  • If POS data is collected 16 hours a day, 6 days a week, the minimum amount of free space must be 11.5 GB.
  • If POS data is collected in 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, the minimum amount of free space must be 17 GB.

2. Save data on separate drives from drive C
We highly recommend you to save recording files and database on separate drives from drive C. Follow the steps below to change the default storage locations.
  • To change the default storage location of recording files, on the main screen, click Configure, select System Config, and then select Set Location….
