Symptom
When GV-VMS is connected to more than 45 channels of IP devices using ONVIF protocol, starting recording can sometimes result in GV-VMS instability.
Solution
Use the patch file below to resolve the issues.
- Close all GeoVision software and follow the steps below.
- Run Windows Task Manager.
- Under the Processes tab, look for GeoStartupAgentService.
- Right-click GeoStartupAgentService and select End Process Tree.
- Download the patch file from here.
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Copy and paste the IPCAMX folder into your C:\Windows directory. Overwrite the old files when prompted.
- Restart GV-VMS.
