[Technical Notice] Solution to the Software Abnormality Resulted from New Intel Graphics Card Drivers

Two issues of software abnormality precipitated by the new Intel graphics card drivers and their solution are adumbrated in this technical notice.

Symptom One
Performing H.265 GPU decoding on a computer deployed with all of the following four hardware / software specifications will cause the live view of GV-VMS / DVR / NVR to freeze or vanish, or their user interface to freeze.

Symptom Two
Only on GV-VMS V15.11.0.0, when you access PTZ live view or panorama view, the image will be broken if the GPU activity is almost at full capacity and the computer hardware and software meet the following specifications.

Solution
As the above two symptoms are both caused by the new Intel graphics card drivers, install the driver (version number: 8/24/2015, 10.18.15.4279) in one of the links below to solve them.
To Install Intel Graphics Card Driver
  1. Close all GeoVision software programs.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file.
  3. Execute and install the file named “win32_15407.4279.exe” or “win64_15407.4279.exe.”

  4. Restart your PC.
