[Technical Notice] Long Pending Upon Startup or Closing of Account Setup on GV-Control Center

Symptom
Starting up of GV-Control Center or the loading of Group List after clicking OK in Account Setup may take prolonged periods of time.

Solution
To resolve the above-mentioned symptom, follow the steps below.
  1. Close GV-Control Center.
  2. Go to GV-Control Center’s application directory and delete the initialization files “CtrCenter.ini” and “GroupPrivilege.ini.”

  3. Restart GV-Control Center.
    WARNING:Deleting of the “CtrCenter.ini” and “GroupPrivilege.ini” initialization files results in the loss of the following settings previously configured:
    • All settings within System configure
    • Live View layout settings
    • Live View status settings
    • Matrix settings
    • Privilege settings within Group List
