[Technical Notice] Detection Issue of GV-I/O Box on GV-Control Center

Symptom
When a GV-I/O Box (8 ports or 16 ports) is connected to GV-Control Center through network, the input and output modules will not appear on GV-Control Center’s I/O Central Panel.

Solution
To resolve the issue, upgrade the firmware of your GV-I/O Box (8 ports or 16 ports) to the latest firmware.
  1. Download the latest firmware from the company website and unzip the file.
  2. Access the Web interface of the GV-I/O Box by typing its IP address in a Web browser. The default IP address is 192.169.0.100.
  3. Type the Username and Password to log in. The default username and password are both admin.
  4. In the left menu, select Firmware Update. This page appears.

  5. Click the Browse button and locate the firmware file (*.bin).
  6. Click the Upload button. The update procedure may take 60 seconds to complete.
  7. When the update is complete, a dialog box appears and asks you to reboot the system. Click OK. GV-I/O Box will start to reboot.
