Issue:
ASManager V4.35 or an earlier version, Fail to upgrade the database to a later version
Possible Root Cause:
ASManager V4.35 or an earlier version, database "License Plate" were limited to 50 characters or less.
But in the later version, the database format has changed to 16 characters or less.
So if your database has any license plates that are more than 16 characters, it will cause the database upgrade failed.
Suggestion:
You can......
1. Use an older version of ASManager to delete the extra characters in the license plate section.
2. Go to ASManager installation folder -> ASRes folder -> "ASConfig.mdb", then use Microsoft Access to open the database to delete the excessive characters under "PlateNO" and "PlateNoIntCode" column in "Vehicle" table. ( Delete the charater is more than 16 under those columns )
