Question:
VMS v16.11 recording file with Privacy Mask recoverable applied, ID/Password prompt doesn't show up when playing video on Windows media
Answer:
When you apply privacy mask region in save as AVI, if you want to see the ID/PWD dialog box shows up in media windows player, you need to make sure that the amount of recording time is approximately 1 minute then you will be able to see the ID/PWD dialog box as the picture below
Less than or equal to 17 seconds recording time the windows media player won’t show ID/PWD.
